My Fave Toys of 2009: Number 9 - DC Direct 13 Inch Sandman

I enjoyed the Sandman's tales, especially when he went to hell to do battle. DC Direct's 13 inch rendition is packed with relevant accessories, and makes a very nice collectible item indeed.







Here he is with his ruby.

And finally, his battle helm.







Coming in a number 9 in this year's list, Morpheus of the Endless is one really cool figure if you're a big fan of (or sorta like) Neil Gaiman's masterpiece series.

   Very cool accessories, Shaun. I love that crow and the ruby and the super cool cape-coat. Wow. The texture and the shape of the Sandman's hair is interesting, too.

   @Diana: The accessories really round up the set real nice. I didn't want to get the fig cos of the hair initially, as I prefer the wiry hair look.

   This is a great figure, do you know i just picked this one up a couple of months ago online for $34!!!! sometimes it pays to wait, sometimes you regret it! J
