Gundam Fix Figuration Next Generation (GFFN) GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam

I've been eyeing this figure for quite a while at my favourite toy shop and finally came round to scoring it.

I have previously owned only one Gundam Fix Figuration (GFF) toy prior to this, and that is the GFF Deepstriker. I read from online reviews that the GFFN series has metal parts in it, and from a brief inspection, most of the metal bits occur in the elbows and knees. Strike does feel slightly heavier when handled along with the S-Gundam configuration of GFF Deepstriker. Unfortunately, I do not have more GFFs to compare how much of an improvement the GFFN Strike's metal joints are, compared to it's predecessors.

It's knees can be rotated close to 180 degrees elbow about 160, and it's sufficient to pull off most of the poses you'd want.

It's waist scabbards contain foldable knives.

In the second episode of Gundam Seed, Strike is only equipped with this pair of knives against mobile suits with heavy firepower.

Onboard the Archangel, Strike receives its rifle, shield and Aile Pack.

The wings on the Aile Pack fold down, exactly like PG 1/60 Strike Gundam's version.

One of the good things about GFFs is that the figures come with a stand and display nameplate base.

And here's Strike armed with his beam sabers.

After playing around with this figure, I found it to be well worth the price paid. I like the detail, articulation and fun factor(which is greatly multiplied if you have an affinity for Gundam Seed) of this toy and find it to be a great rendition of the lead mecha from Gundam Seed.

Here it is with Strike Rouge, which is carrying the launcher and sword parts which can be used on Strike. I hope to take photos of Strike Rouge soon.
