Gundam Fiesta 2009 Singapore at Compass Point

The Gundam Fiesta 2009 Singapore will be open to the public from tomorrow. Here's some pix of the set up which I got on the way back from work today.
This fair's layout reminds me of the one I visited in 2004 in a Hong Kong shopping mall at Diamond Hill MTR. That fair had panels, model displays, group build diorama displays, and a staff controlled area selling model kits. Guess it's a tried and tested layout that works for Bandai. IIRC, I picked up my PG Strike from that fair for about S$150 then. Not a bad price then for a newly released kit.
Mr Bong, the Metro toy department manager shared with me that buyers would need to pick up a coupon from the staff, pay at the cashier, then pick up the kit. I do hope they control the amount of exclusives being released though. It's good that they're controlling the kit area, as having kits strewn all over the place would not look good.

For exclusive coverage of the media event, check out the following blogs tomorrow. Thanks to LEon for the headsup.
