1:6 Hot Toys Predator
Labels: 12 inch one sixth sixth scale, hot toys 4 comments
I've never watched Predator, but to paraphrase Arnold in the movie, if it looks frickin' cool, buy it.
When I started collect 1:6 figures in '06, Hot Toys' Predator products sure were head turners, but I was into the hobby a bit to late to be able to snag a decent figure out of their various offerings.
I recall reading collectors finding them Predators a bitch/or really fun to put together, as well as comments about the head being disproportionate. This toy doesn't require assembly but I can't comment on the head as I know f@#$ all about how it looked in the movie.
I've always liked the Predator's design of dreadlocked warrior who had a facial accident and the sculpt here doesn't disappoint. He so fugly that it's hard to take your eyes off him.

He comes with open/closed left and right hands, a gripping right hand, mask, open/closed mandibles, medical pack (not pictured here) and a base.
Here he is with closed mandibles.
With his mask...
...and laser nets activated.

Articulated shoulder cannon.

Close ups of his outfit.

Medical kit...

...that's stored in the armour on his back.
Wrist computer.
Extendable wrist blades.

Just reaching out...
...for a skull and spine.
I haven't been thrilled by a Hot Toys figure for a while. I'm glad this figure came along.

The only other Predator-related figure I have is a much more alluring one.
She's kinda hot.
