1:6 Hot Toys Men's Suit | Tony Stark Kitbash

This set comes with sunglasses, modified neck to fit Tony Stark's head that came with Hot Toys Iron Man Mark III, shirt, tie, jacket, belt, pants, socks and shoes.

The sunglasses are made of a thin metal sheet which looks rather flimsy upon closer inspection.
There's an instruction sheet that details how to bend the frame into place and prevent breakage.
The shades look passable to me when placed on Tony Stark's head.

Here's a pix illustrating the difference in size of the neck post that comes with this set.
L - R: 1:6 Hot Toys Men's Suit Neck, Batman TDK suit version neck and normal Caucasian neck
Hot Toys have advised that the upcoming narrower-shouldered True Type will be a better fit than the regular caucasian figure, but the regular version will have to do till the new one is released.
Minimally, you will require the body with wrist pegs, hands and feet pegs.
And you'll have Stark at the Jericho demo.
Regrettably, while the tie can be tightened, it's difficult to fasten the collar. I feel that another small piece of velcro would have helped.

With Mark III

With Mark II & III

And fellow billionaire, Bruce Wayne.

what is the better suit, the one with your bruce wayne (i think that was from century hobby) or the hot toys' suit?
10:43 PM
They're different cuts, but I personally prefer Century Hobby's suit.

At least Hot Toys is getting the right idea of marketing separate accessories.
Now how about a kit of extra hands and wrist/ankle joints? :-D

Good idea, though I'd prefer having a few pairs in one set if they ever did a kit of that.

I'm still undecided of whether to get the Mark III figure. The Dark Knight franchise can really be draining on the wallet (and to think that the Tumbler has yet to arrive!). I think that Hottoys might issue a DX version of Mark III with icluded suit already. Moreover, a much improved Mark III version for Ironman 2 might surface in the future (just like what they did with the Batman Begins costume). To buy or not to buy...
