Personal Equipment for Singapore Armed Forces

Before going for reservist, I'd spoken to Pro Bro and Arthur and asked them about the new personal equipment, the skeletal battle order in particular, but they'd no info and didn't receive any new kit the last time they went for reservist. Today at the camp army surplus shop I saw something like this and confirmed with the shop owner that this was new load bearing vest.

No I didn't take photos in camp, this pix was obtained from this forum.

This is really old news apparently, as featured here and here. It was even used for NDP 06. And the items are obtainable from D&G Marketing.

I'm not sure whether this is available at the e-Mart...

...but I scored one of these for S$40 (using personal equipment credits), which replaces our full pack.

Checked out the total cost of the light kelvar helmet, frag goggles, load bearing vest, hydration system, elbow & knee pads and pouches, and they came to more than S$200. Wonder if there's a less expensive to score the new personal equipment, other than volunteering for peacekeeping missions.
