DC Direct 13 Inch Robin Pix Review

Posted: Monday, February 11, 2008 by Shaun in Labels: , ,

The first 'teen body' offering in DC Direct's 13 Inch line, Robin's ridiculous cos he's taller than most sixth scale figures. Of course, DC Direct skipped the chance to change those damn wrist joints on this new body. The figure turned out to be more fun than expected, honestly.

Buy DC Direct 13 Inch Robin!

DC Direct was the one that introduced me to the world of 1:6 scale figures (okay, they're 13"). I used to have sleepless nights hoping that I could afford to buy their version of Batman Begins, Superman Returns and Modern Batman but after being introduced to Sideshow, Medicom and Hot Toys, I quit from buying DC Direct's offerings.
It is sad to note that the wrist posts still sucks, not to mention the below average sculpting and the high price. Well, that is life.

kenny and em, you're right, he's quite a case of wardrobe malfunction in my pix, exposing his nuts and all.

anonymous, thanks for posting a comment. Like you, I don't understand DCD's insistence on keeping to their rubbish bodies and rather they, like hasbro, accept that other companies can do 6th scale figures better than them and farm out the licence.
