luckly you got Carnage. He is the rumoured next villian in Spider-man 4. Hopefully they do a better job than 3.

thanks for sharing the good news best pal. But strange though if they go ahead, given eddie's death, you'd wonder how they'll tie it in with continuity

    it's Hollywood...anything's possible.

    dude,
if u r still lookin' for a 12" Tobey Maguire, a csq regular put up a loose 1 for sale last sunday. It wasn't sold, so u'll probably see it again comin' sunday.

  1. Shaun says:

hey thanks man, any indication of the price? Wouldn't happen to be the tall, slightly pear shaped, pock marked guy? Thanks for the heads up. :)

  1. UltraVinz says:

Nope! Not that guy. The guys runnin' this table are a Chinese & an Indian; lots of loose but incomplete figures.

It was priced only $10 but the condition is abt C6 + w/o mask (reasonable & gd 4 makin' the "gd" Parker if u ask me).

  1. Shaun says:

hey thanks man! $10 for the head's pretty decent. Will need to examine the figure's neck joint first. Wasted bout the lack of the mask, could've used the mask for a cool custom and wouldn't mind paying more for that. IIRC these toys retailed at about S$30 when the first movie came out right?

  1. UltraVinz says:

Yup! To be exact, $29.90. Supersteal 4 a 12" figure.

  1. Any ideas where I can find some good photos of the Medicom Spider-Man 2 figure? Is this figure considered to be well done? I would like to see a photo review of it. Can't find anyone who has one.

    Thanks,
    J

    Hi Jason, pix here.

  1. Thanks for the link Shaun. I like this figure, but I'm not sure it's worth the inflated prices I've seen for it.

BTW, love your site. I never looked at the more expensive toys because I never could afford them. But I walked into the Heroes Club, The Art of Toys store in SF and fell in love with all the 12 inch figures. I just picked up a Medicom Spider-Man 3 and love it. My goal is to get all the Spidey stuff. Now, I'm longing for the original Medicom Spider-Man 2 figure. What do you think of this figure?

  1. Shaun says:

Hi Jason, glad the link was useful and thanks for checking out my site. Ah, I've read abit of legendary Heroes Club store, which provides sixth scale poison for anyone who dares venture there.

I can understand your desire for the Medi Spidey figures, they're generally a good looking bunch with the exception of Venom(both comic and movie) being too short.

I think the original Medicom Spiderman 2 is a good looking figure, but as you pointed out, it's going rate these days is too expensive.

  1. In reality, Sam Raimi's original SPIDERMAN (2002) film is the best that he did. SPIDERMAN 2 just plain sucked! It did...It really did! SPIDERMAN 3 was not as bad as people say and had a much more "entertainment" factor going for it than 2 ever did. But this first SPIDERMAN, flaws and all, is the best of the lot b/c Raimi kept it, in a word...simple! It flowed much more easily and didn't have stalls in action or plot like both of its sequels did. In Spider-man, the action actually comes from the plot rather than defines it.
