    Hello,
My name is E-sha, and I have to say that your collection almost made me cry, (don't laugh I'm a girl.) I love seeing people accomplishing things that they love to do. I envy you sooo much! I wish I could have had that kind of money to get the action figures you have. I love all those figures. My collection will never be as good as yours even if I became rich and could buy them all straight out as there are many that you can't even find anymore! Bravo on a spectacular job! E-sha

  1. Shaun says:

Hi E-sha, thanks for dropping by with your comment. Glad to read that you enjoyed checking out my collection. Please don't envy me, been collecting for almost nine years, hence the amount of stuff amassed over time. :) Everyone's collection is unique and special to the owner in their own way, so don't diss your stuff. I'd like to take a look at your collection if you don't mind sharing them with me.

  1. Anonymous says:

Awesome collection! Your DC stuff is awesome! I love the whole collection! The Superman shelf is top notch. Thanks for sharing!

  1. Shaun says:

glad you had fun checking out my collection pix. :)

  1. That is such an awesome collection, I'm a big comic book and i could spend hours and hours and hours....and hours in that room. I love the over the top stylized ones like Mongul and Killer Croc, the Captain Marvel (nearer the camera) and the oversized Justice League (the ones based on the cartoon) are gorgeous and even though it goes against my usual taste I reckon those realistic star wars ones rock too, the old guy from Kingdom Come has so much personality, and that Akuma is just awesome, just one thing, more Batman less Superman! lol Just kidding i must just be jealous, this page is getting is getting bookmarked

  1. Shaun says:

hi johnny, glad to meet a fellow comic book fan. DCD's Mongul's either really loved or hated by fans it seems, no in between. Killer Croc's by the Four Horsemen, so it has to look good. :) Captain Marvel is one of the nicer pieces from the 13" inch line, which I think are the figs you're referring to in the oversized Justice League figures?

The Star Wars figs are pretty cool, pity bout the bodies. The whole KC line is beautiful, IMHO, while Akuma makes up the figures for my palty Street Fighter collection.

More Batman you say? Check back here in the next few months and I'm certain you'll seek more TDK Batman figs.

Thanks for bookmarking my page. :)

  1. Adrian says:

Two thumbs up! great work also on your kitbashes...

by the way any advise on whats the best 1/6 scale figure to be the best to own? considering articulation and stability and quality...

i have some 1/6 accessories and want to have a 1/6 body to use...

medicom or hot toys??? or others?

    thanks...

  1. Shaun says:

hi thanks for your comment, I'd recommend trying out kitbashing with a Hot Toys body, its my personal fave. Wouldn't say its the best, but its one of the better ones out in the market. Hope the info helps.

    hope you carry on collecting

  1. The Fortress is looking better and better! Thanks for posting the updated pics.

  1. Bracken says:

hey shaun - i like how on the HT dark knight shelf, the Batmans have been 'relegated' towards the back!

Plus - as of 04/01 the arrangement on the shelves has significantly changed - have you 'streamlined' your collection, or...?

  1. Shaun says:

@Dash: Thanks for checking out the updated pix. :)

@Bracken: Well, the villains made the movie for me, hence their 'top billing'

I 'archived' my transformers superlink collection which freed up about three shelves, which i used to distribute among my 1:6 figs and Transformers classics. But yes, I hope to streamline the collection soon, i.e., sell off figures that never get the chance to be displayed.

  1. Speechless! I'm going to faint. You're the benchmark. You are da man!

  1. Jcee says:

Oh man your collection is absolutely amazing! How long have you been collecting?

  1. m says:

I must say that when I first saw your collection about a year ago, my jaw dropped. Since then, I also started collecting {although mine won't match yours, especially [as pointed by E-sha I think] even if we became rich, some figures are impossible to find}.

It's either you're rich or you have a high paying job. Hehehe. Thanks for sharing. Your collection really rocks.

  1. Shaun says:

@Korndamned: For every mountain, there is a higher one. I would never claim to be the benchmark. :)

@Jcee: Thanks! For about ten years.

@m: m, I'm neither rich nor have a high paying job. As I started collecting quite a while back, I've sold off toys in my collection to fund new toy lines quite a few times.

    Hi Shawn ,
Awesome collection ,one thing that makes yours a pleasure to look at it ,is that it is very well organised how do you do it ?
I have bookmarked your page and use it for inspiration to display my collection when i hit a rough spot on figuring out where everything should go ?I have four Detolf display cases from Ikea that i am trying to organise all of figures to display it's not easy any tips on what i should do ?
    thanks
    Jarkko

  1. Shaun says:

Hi Jarkko, thanks for dropping by. I try to organise my stuff thematically. I am using a Billy Bookcase from Ikea and configured it with glass shelves. The advantage it holds over the Detolf is that the shelf height is configurable. With the Detolf, you may want to consider buying acrylic step displays sort of what you see in museums, to stagger the height of your figures.

  1. Teoism says:

love the display shelf. Space is always the bane of collectors like us though. And I can't bear to sell of some of my collections to make way for new ones. >< Sigh....Kudos to how u managed it though :)

  1. Shaun says:

hi teo, thanks for visiting. Yes, space is always a concern as we constantly try to make more space for new additions. I understand you not wanting to sell off your collection for new items. I end up archiving all my old stuff in the storeroom, which honestly isn't the best method.

  1. bored says:

    WTF!!! you are millonaire????????

  1. Thx for commenting on my toy collection. Seriously, my collection are too few compared to yours. Your collection are diverse and marvelous! They are so neatly and nicely arranged. I impressed Shawn!

  1. I love the elegant, standing look of all of your figures. Sometimes posing them is cool but you went with the direct route and it's awesome. I'm posting a bunch here cause I'm new but I would love to get some of your takes on my toy collecting website called prideandtoys.com. Your collecting on a whole other level, from me that's for sure...

  1. eastern1 says:

    Hi Shaun,

After browsing through the web, i finally found a "detail" website on toys.. great site / blog.

I'm having a little trouble with space on the toys. I noticed that in one of your pics displaying the emperor guards (red and blue) above and below are the darth vaders, I was just wondering what's the item you used to separate them (to create more space)?

Thanks and hope to hear your reply soon.

  1. Shaun says:

hi eastern 1, I used a fabricated plastic platform to prop the figures behind higher. I would suggest measuring the space of your shelf to derive the measurements you will need for the platform. Hope the info helps.

  1. eastern1 says:

Thanks for your prompt reply, Shaun.

Greatly appreciated.. you are indeed a great collector.

By the way, just curious, do you anywhere that is selling the hot toys 2 in 1 superman? I think the price must be sky rocket.

  1. Shaun says:

you're welcome eastern1, hope you manage to score the plastic platforms that you need.

I haven't seen the hot toys 2-in-1 superman locally for quite awhile, best to check ebay for the prices.

  1. pc game says:
